Atma is an ancient Sanskrit word that is equated to the inner self or soul. Our Physicians and Staff believe that each person is unique.

We pride ourselves on our holistic approach of patients and not just their diseases. The essence of the human body relies heavily on both the physical and spiritual forms.

The team at Atma are trained healthcare professionals encompassing physician specialists, and educators who understand not only the importance and focus on mental health but also the physical body.

Who Are We?

We are a PHYSICIAN ONLY specialized medical clinic assessing and supervising the medical necessity for Cannabis/Cannabinoid therapy. We are NOT a dispensary or affiliated with a licensed producer.

History

Atma Medical Clinic was founded in 2018 by a team of highly qualified and dedicated healthcare professionals with over 15 years of medical experience who have a passion to provide Canadian patients with access to the highest standards of care and available treatment. In light of the recent Canadian government approval for access to medical cannabis for medical purposes and though access to cannabis use has been granted for over a decade now, our team of physicians observed a lack of sufficient available patient support and oversight.

With the rapidly growing patient population requesting to seek alternative treatment options or to complement existing disease therapies our healthcare providers have established a patient centered focus with a multi-disciplinary team to provide the best evidence based and safest care possible.
